The Diocese covered an area of 9,210 square miles and was poly-ethnic, encompassing the Sefwi, the Aowin, the Wassaw, the Nzima, the Ahanta, not to mention the numerous Akan, Ga and Ewe who were attracted there by job openings and farming opportunities.
God willing the Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev'd Alexander Kobina Asmah will be paying his maiden episcopal visit to St. Barnabas, Wassa Manso the out station of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Kojokrom on Sunday, 25th June, 2017. The Diocesan needs the prayers of all in support of the growth and development of the out station.
God willing the Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev'd Alexander Kobina Asmah will be travelling to Kenya for the Bishop's Peer Mentoring Workshop in Nairobi (Kenya) and will be away for seven (7) days. In accordance with the constitution he has appointed Very Rev'd Theophilus Q. Quaynor, dean of the Cathedral Church of St. Andrew the Apostle as Vicar General.
The entire Diocese of Sekondi will be mourning with Rev'd Canon John Tetteh Ankrah on the demise of his beloved wife. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
