Set along the scenic Beach Road in the heart of Takoradi, the Church of The Ascension is a dynamic and spiritually grounded parish in the Diocese of Sekondi. Taking its name from the glorious Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ, our church is a place where heaven and earth meet — where worship lifts our hearts, and mission sends us out to be Christ’s hands and feet in the world.
Rooted in the Anglican tradition, our parish is known for its reverent liturgy, thoughtful preaching, and strong sense of fellowship. Here, the Gospel is proclaimed boldly, the sacraments are celebrated faithfully, and the love of God is shared freely.
