Welcome to St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Parish – Axim
Faithful Like Mary, Joyful in the Lord
Located in the historic coastal town of Axim, St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Parish is a cherished part of the Diocese of Sekondi. Named in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary — the one who humbly bore Christ into the world — our parish seeks to follow her example of faith, obedience, and deep devotion to God.
At St. Mary’s, we are rooted in the Anglican tradition, drawing life from Holy Scripture, the celebration of the sacraments, and the fellowship of believers. Our worship is reverent and joyful, our community is open and caring, and our mission is to reflect the light of Christ to all we encounter.
Whether you are seeking a deeper relationship with God, a place to worship, or a Christian community to call home, you are warmly welcome at St. Mary’s in Axim. Come and join us in magnifying the Lord and rejoicing in His saving grace.
